` there's no turning back,
NICKNAMES . Kieran.
AGE & DATE OF BIRTH . Twenty-two. January 1st.
OCCUPATION . Bartender. Roams the streets pretty often.
FACE CLAIM . Lee Sungmin.[/size][/ul]
` i'll be waiting,
His hair's been through a lot of abuse, considering how frequently he dyes it. He's convinced to this day that he will try absolutely any hairstyle, and plans to explore that. When he isn't working, Kieran's style of clothing is casual, sometimes a little odd, but he believes he has very good tastes. Most of the items in his wardrobe however, are clothes other males wouldn't be caught dead wearing. Maybe that's why he keeps them.[/size][/ul]
` lace up your shoes,
DISLIKES . Adults with boring jobs, adults who are rich, his parents, tight spaces, elevators, cars, books, television, grass stains, apologies [which he doesn't accept], rain, and talking on the phone.
STRENGTHS . You really, really don't want a fight with him if you have no unnatural abilities to boast of. He knows his martial arts, and if for some reason he's not carrying a knife, he is more than willing to use his fists. He's also good with talking you in circles because there are times he just won't shut up. He's friendly enough, on the surface, and a decent actor when he needs to be. Lying for him is like second nature. He's also rather agile, and not exactly as trustworthy as he could be.
WEAKNESSES . Kieran is stubborn as hell, and won't have a confrontation with anyone. He avoids anything he has a problem with by moving somewhere else or pretending it isn't there. He gets angry easily over the slightest thing, and no one really understands why. He could antagonize the entire world, and has few very close friends. Slightly claustrophobic, and absolutely hates water [not the best swimmer]. He's also quite the daredevil, never hesitating in goading others to provide amusement or jumping to a challenge himself. It hasn't gotten him killed yet, so he thinks it's all good.
GOALS . He lives, and doesn't really care where life takes him.
FEARS . Elevators, basements, staying in one place for too long, large bodies of water. And facing the thunder, he supposed.
SECRETS . What his family was like, exactly what he's thinking all the time, and all of his fears. And the fact that he's bi-curious.
FAIRY PAST . Sasha/Air. Northern swift fox.
OVERALL PERSONALITY . People think he avoids talking about himself because of what he is - after all, a trained gang member shouldn't be chatting about his personal life with random strangers. But Kieran has learned everything he knows through experience, not training, and can act as amiable as any other. So for him, it's much simpler than others make it out to be: He just never got along with his parents.
He's always wanted that cold satisfaction of letting it all out, telling them that they'd royally f**ked up, but he figures they already know that. He has no siblings, and hasn't seen his immediate family for several years now. He always stays on the outskirts, considering he's never fighting for a belief, rather just for the sake of doing something.
He has the sweetest laugh, the most endearing smile, and the brattiest attitude when he feels like it. Kieran loves to play around, and nothing is ever serious, even relationships. [Besides, those who like the cute type always go to him, and we all know how long that lasts]. He may seem a little strange in the head, because one second he'll be cool and appraising, and the next, he's all hugs and kisses. Kieran's just a little stuck up in that if he deems someone not worth his trouble, he doesn't bother to hide it. He says what he thinks, but only of you. What you see is [almost] what you get.
Surprisingly, he doesn't like to talk about himself, and neither is he very keen on listening. He gets bored easily, and when he suddenly becomes too polite, you know he's tired of you. Kieran likes pointless conversation that effectively kills time and makes him forget that he actually has something important to do.
When he is very angry the results are not pretty. You’ll notice he becomes dangerously sweet and well-mannered as he’s reaching for the knife in his pocket. [Kieran likes sharp objects, and calling him a sadist would only flatter him.] He’d want to know everything about you, but just ask one thing about him, and he’d shut himself off and wouldn’t speak to you for the rest of the day. He’s a lot stronger and more malicious than he looks, but he’s also a lot more fragile, depending on where you hit him, I suppose. He can be understanding, it’s just that he doesn’t always want to.
He doesn't have what it takes to ever stay in one place, or even sit down and read a book. He loves traveling, sometimes even finds a need to. Manipulation happens to be something he is very good at, and when he does become curious [or wants something from you] it could be very helpful, indeed. Kieran's not the nicest person you'll ever meet, and he might even be too much for you to keep up with, but that's all right, because he usually doesn't give a damn about you, either.[/size][/ul]
` don't tell a soul goodbye,
CURRENT LOCATION . Hunter's City, Maple View.
HISTORY . Kieran was born and raised on American soil. Last he checked, his mother was a clothing designer strengthening her markets in Asia [thus always abroad] and his father headed some talent agency for people with no real talent he didn't really care about. He's lost contact with the both of them, and he has no idea what became of their work. He always assumes they wrote him out of their will. It's not like he showed them he could handle inheriting either business.
Maybe Kieran was spoiled as a child, and that had been the root of all his problems. But that's stupid, because he's never liked the family since day one. It's not something he can explain, and he usually never tries. Since he was very young, he took up fighting in school, and even took some classes in taekwondo [he’s now a blackbelt]. Hitting people was fun. It made him feel better.
He wasn't a particularly angry child, but he had a lot of energy and nowhere else for it to go. It annoyed him after a while, when they started pulling him out of classes in fifth grade to have long sessions with the school therapist. "Yes, I did break his jaw," "No, I don't take drugs." It was straight forward, and he never liked class anyway, but when the therapist decided he couldn't fix things [well you can never fix what's not broken], he called reinforcements in the form of Kieran's parents.
Violent nature, blah blah blah, disrespectful attitude... Kieran decided he could learn to hate that guy. What was even worse, was that his parents actually listened to him. Four months later, he found himself sulking on the train to some prep school. In a city in the middle of nowhere that was probably dead, and stuffy teenagers with a lousy sense of humor. They were rich, though. And spoiled. And even kind of stuck up, so when he got over the sulking stage, Kieran found it easy to make friends with them.
That’s not to say he stuck around for long. He didn’t apply himself to school any more than he did in fifth grade. He did pass PE, though. Or he would have, if the class wasn’t joint with Health, and he didn’t bother doing any of the homework. But Kieran always figured if he was literate, then honestly, that was good enough. But anyway. He got expelled in his eighth year. After that, he just never came home.
***
The next few years held no memories Kieran recalled with a fond smile, but if given a choice, he wouldn't necessarily change it. There were several times he almost called his parents for money, almost, but he could never bring himself to do it. He chalks it up as pride and stubbornness, but there could be some insecurity in there as well.
But he meets certain people and those certain people introduce him to other certain people who find out Kieran can fight, and that he can manage pretty well with life on the streets and though he's a loner, he fits in with these new friends of his who fought and stole and ran and occasionally killed. Life was good, even if it had complications. He argues as much as any other, disappears for a few months or even years to come back, and refuses to be questioned about it. And he's not always the favorite. But that's okay.[/size][/ul]

RP SAMPLE . [AU, obviously, but it's definitely Kieran]
It was dreadfully late at night, about five minutes past Cinderella’s curfew, and Kieran found himself wandering the halls of the school, brooding. Just the very thought managed to get under his skin because Kieran Lee did not brood; he was cheerful and happy and didn’t care about anything else, even if he had to pretend. He stopped to lean against the wall, throwing his head back in a self-directed frustration. His hand was still bandaged, but he fisted it anyway, biting harshly down at his lower lip.
He’d left the infirmary early that morning, more or less herded the dragon back in its cage, and considered holding it to a flame and watching it melt, very, very slowly because goddamnit, Kieran figured it was all the dragon’s fault. And he’d been avoiding Maili, the staff room, even the wing her office was in for the entire day because for the first time in his life, he didn’t know what to say if he saw her.
He supposed he liked Maili, maybe a lot, and that was the root of all his problems. He wanted to spend more time with her, and get to know her, but he was worried. More worried than he’d ever been in his life. Because it seemed that Maili was more than willing, and Kieran must be a goddamn coward because he was just afraid of that.
See, Kieran knows all too well what it’s like to want something, and then as soon as he got it, [and really, he supposed he’d had Maili right from the start] to stop wanting it anymore. It happened with toys, with friends, with careers and vacations. He was selfish, and spoiled, and flighty, and wanted a little taste of everything before he died, and you know what, maybe he was insane too, because honestly. This was just stupid.
Kieran passed by the staff room, pausing briefly by the door. He thought maybe he could drop in, kick a few things, and leave. His violent streak was back again and it was always hard to stop. But then he heard mutterings, maybe sobbing, and he stiffened in surprise. With little hesitation, he wrenched open the door, a puzzled frown on his face.[/size][/ul]
