Syril is of relatively average appearance, with long, straight brown hair that she occasionally winds around her arms. Her eyes are light blue and slightly darker near the pupils. With an above-average height and slightly below-average weight, Syril's slim appearance is mainly thanks to her fast metabolism rather than any exercise.
On the topic of exercise, Syril doesn't get much. This means that, while having average strength due to her book-requiring hobbies and above-average endurance due to strong lungs, she is not athletic. This is obvious due to her slim limbs and lack of strong grip.
PERSONAL STYLE Syril doesn't necessarily have a 'style'. While she avoids clothes that she doesn't like, she doesn't pay much attention to what she wears, other than tending to avoid shirts with large logos or designs on them. She does, however, often sport T-shirts with designs such as: Warning! Mind Flayers![/size][/ul]

Thunderstorms. Along with loving any sort of rain, Syril enjoys watching lightning crackle across the sky and feel the wind blow droplets of rain onto her skin.
Overcast. Even without rain, Syril prefers for the sky to be covered in gray clouds. While she admits that she would allow sunlight for plants to survive, she often says she wouldn't mind it always being overcast.
Debate. Syril enjoys what she calls "The exhilarating clash of minds in a duel of intelligence!", and often starts debates if she hasn't had a good one recently.
Roleplaying Games. Games like DnD, GURPS and the like take up a large portion of her free time, and Syril also enjoys the occasional LARP or forum-based roleplay. She owns a digital watch that exclaims "Rollenspiel!" every hour, and she enjoys extolling the virtues of these games if asked what "Rollenspiel" means.
DISLIKES Clear skies are the enemy of clouds, and Syril will often stay inside on such days, if possible. Sometimes, if the weather is otherwise good, she will go outside and enjoy it, but she usually dislikes such days.
Ignorance. In any way, shape or form Syril will often become furious at ignorance. Especially at people who would dare to attack her hobbies with foolish claims and no evidence.
Stereotypes. Tied to ignorance, this is one of the things Syril responds to by ignoring the speaker. Unless there is a debate involved, she will completely ignore anyone believing or using stereotypes or labels.
Lack of Intelligence. With little patience to begin with, Syril, who often enjoys helping those with less skill than her, hates people who wallow in stupidity and ignorance, especially if they believe that they are great. She has nothing but contempt for these people, and will classify them as 'vermin' if in a particularly nasty mood.
Waiting. With little patience, Syril cannot stand waiting for something, and occasionally feels like she is "trapped in time" when being forced to wait for more than a short period of time. She does, however, amuse herself by planning adventures in the roleplaying games she plays.
STRENGTHS Syril's intelligence allows her to pick apart many obstacles, and she can "think on her feet" better than many people she knows. Due to this, she can often improvise during times when any specific plan of hers falls apart, and she is always worried that her otherwise good plans will be destroyed by a lack of quick thinking on the part of her friends or allies.
Acting. Syril is a good actor, and can assume almost any role she needs to. This allows her to get out of many situations, and she often prepares what to say beforehand.
Details. When covering up or doing something against rules, Syril will often pay immense attention to incredibly minor details. She often does things that make little sense, such as moving things a centimeter in case someone notices that it is in the same place even though she should have used it.
WEAKNESSES Syril is very jittery, and while this is sometimes a strength, it often interferes with her actions and results in her "making it safe" rather than actually progressing in something.
Forgiving. While some believe that this is an advantage, with Syril it goes to an extreme. Unless she is actively out for revenge, she will often forgive someone even when logic dictates that she shouldn't trust them.
Vengeance. While this doesn't get in her way much, Syril's thirst for revenge can override logic. She returns any wrongs with a reprisal often of the same type of thing. Until she gets her "even, return shot" she will often be plotting to do so, unless there will be serious consequences to do so.
GOALS Power. While she doesn't have a specific goal, Syril enjoys being in charge and commanding people. She loves power and wants to do something where she can have the power she craves.
FEARS That something bad will happen. While everyone fears this to a certain extent, Syril occasionally gets incredibly anxious that something will happen, and she often jumps at little noises and is overcome by random bursts of fear in some situations. This does, however, make her ready for disaster or something like that, and her being on edge has helped her react quickly.
SECRETS Syril is a sado/masochist. While her masochism is mainly limited to "growing pains" and the like, she also has a high tolerance for pain. Her sadistic tendencies and cruel streak only appear when she is furious, and while she has never "exploded", she often has brutal fantasies during her rages.
FAIRY PAST Tyrani. Syril embodies fire by creating vibrations that produce heat(and crude sounds). Her familiar will be a red squirrel with the name of Tyrone.
OVERALL PERSONALITY (Describing personalities isn't my forte, so I'm sorry if this isn't that good)
Syril is an introvert. She has a small group of friends and, other than them, she prefers to be alone unless she can be with people she already knows. Syril can be completely content with an afternoon spent with a book or preparing for her next GURPS meet. She is, however, also very social. When she is with her friends, she can be crazy, joking and happy. She complains, argues, and generally acts like the average person. While among strangers, however, she is calm, collected, and more interested in her drawings/work/book than the people around her.
Syril has been gifted with a long attention span. If something is interesting, and even if it isn't but it is important, she can spend hours with it. This often leads to her being restless after her friends quitting after only a few hours of roleplaying. Combined with her thirst for knowledge, and power, this makes her a very attentive student.
Syril was also given the curse/blessing of being thorough. Once she had started something, she wants to finish it. Even if she is hungry and cold, she would rather complete whatever she started than take a break. This, coupled with her difficulty to start working outside of school, makes her loathe to take breaks, as she knows that she will have a hard time going back to work.[/size][/ul]

HISTORY
Syril spent her early years, three, to be exact, in London. Her parents decided that she should live in America long enough to fulfill her citizenship requirements. For the next six years everything was good. Syril lived a relatively mundane life, and proved herself to be excellent with computers. Then there was the storm.
When Syril was ten years old, a tornado destroyed her house and the neighborhood she lived in. Luckily, she was on a camping trip with her parents at the time. However, the destruction of the house left her parents with little choice of what to do. So they moved to New York state, and after a few months of living with Syril's grandparents they moved to Watersburg.
The last four years in Watersburg were relatively uneventful, and Syril has adjusted to life in the small town. She became interested in role-playing games and formed a small group that cycled between DnD and GURPS, meeting every other weekend. Syril's ambitious thirst for power developed, and she began to put mor energy into her schoolwork.[/ul]

"Er...alright. The Mind Flayer?" The boy behind the decorated paper screen asked, glancing up to see her nod. "Alright, then-" He began.
"I crit! Oh, yes! Another twenty! INSTANT KILL!" Syril shouted in excitement, grinning as she toppled the figurine in front of hers. "Oh, I say 'Surrender, or that will be you!' Is that a...+4 to intimidate?" She asked, looking up at the boy again, about to roll a blue-green twenty sided die.
"Sure. Yeah." The boy replied, drumming his fingers on his Dungeon Master's Guide. 'This is gonna be a long night...' He thought as Syril pumped her fist in victory. "Alright, they surrender. Now, ah, that's...4,300 XP for each of you. Syril, you get 200 more for the Intimidate." He said, scribbling something on his notepad as Syril began to rant about the length of the session.[/size][/ul]
