Racing around to come up behind you again.
The sun is the same in a relative way but you're older.
Shorter of breath and one day closer to death."

` i'll be waiting,
Leia is a very beautiful young girl. Not the cookie-cutter cheerleader beautiful that many girls strive for, but an exotic, natural beautiful.
Her eyes are her most captivating feature. They are a dark hazel color and almond-shaped, framed by long dark eyelashes. She has an oval-shaped face with clear tan skin and full lips beneath what she believes is a rather large nose. However, all of her features work together and give her the appearance of an exotic beauty. She almost never wears makeup and likes to keep her appearance simple. Her hair is long, dark and wavy, although she does straight it from time to time. Usually, she leaves it natural because she doesn't have time in the morning to do more with it.
Leia isn't particularly tall for her age, she's about average height at 5'6". She isn't too skinny but she isn't overweight, either. She has nice curves and muscles in her legs from running track. She is very comfortable with her body, although she doesn't believe she's anything special. She weighs about 115 lbs and she looks skinnier than she actually is.
PERSONAL STYLE .Leia likes to wear bright colors with any kind of jeans, skinny jeans, normal jeans. She normally has a contrast of bright and dark colors in her outfit. She likes to dress nice, but also comfortable, so if it isn't easy to wear, she won't wear it.[/ul]
` lace up your shoes,
DISLIKES . underachievers, people who believe they are better than anyone else, spiders, crawling bugs, stupid people
STRENGTHS . fast runner, smart, clever, good at archery
WEAKNESSES . clumsy unless she's running, blurts out whatever she's thinking, not very strong otherwise
GOALS . graduate, of course, become a well-renowned journalist, enter the Olympics for track
FEARS . spiders, thunderstorms, Seran wrap, breast cancer, her father dying in a freak accident
SECRETS . she's had feelings for a woman in the past, so she might be bi but she won't admit it.
FAIRY PAST . Sasha, air, familiar was a sparrow
OVERALL PESONALITY . Leia used to be a very happy, loving person, full of life and vitality. However, when her mom died, something seemed to go out of her. It was like a hole was opened up in her heart and the life leaked out of her. Now, a year later, she is still generally happy, although there will be times when she gets very quiet and seems to be trying to keep it together. When she and her friends go out and try to have fun, she really does try but not all of her is there. Something was lost and it may be almost impossible to try and replace.
She is still a very fun person to be around. She loves to laugh and joke around, have a good time if possible. The only thing that can get her down is mention of her mother. Otherwise, she's outgoing, loves to take a dare and is basically the complete opposite of her fairy ancestor. She'll get involved in intelligent debate, she can take action when everyone else is too scared to, and she's very outgoing. However, she does have that part of Sasha that wants to do what is best for everyone and finds herself helping people even when they don't ask for it.
When Leia gets angry, which isn't very often, her anger can be dangerous. She will lash out with a cruel tongue, say things that she doesn't mean, and even refuse to help someone. When she's angry, she can be like the force of a hurricane, but it takes a lot to get her upset. Yes, she does get annoyed at little things, but her anger is different. It's more dangerous.
All in all, Leia is a tough, complicated young woman who has lost someone she was very close to and doesn't know how to fill that gap. She has only just recently moved to Hunter's and only has her distant friends to comfort her, for the moment. She is emotionally unstable, but lovable all the same.[/ul]
` don't tell a soul goodbye,
CURRENT LOCATION . Watersburg, New York
FATHER . Doug Carmella
MOTHER . Paulina Carmella, died of breast cancer last year
SIBLINGS . none
PETS . Her father raises wild animals that would otherwise not survive in the wild because they were injured or abandoned at a young age. She has many pets, but there is one that is closest to her, a young jaguar she's named Sardonis. He couldn't be returned to the wild, because there are no zoos around to take a jaguar, so he's her pet.
OTHER FAMILY . She has other family, but they are all back in Albany.
HISTORY . Leia lived in Albany all of her life until this past year. She was born on a cold December night to Paulina and Doug Carmella who never expected to have a baby. The doctors had told Paulina she was infertile, but then she started missing her period and found out that she was, in fact, pregnant. Paulina and Doug poured all of their love, care, and devotion into raising Leia. They knew she was a miracle baby and that it was improbable they could have another child, so they loved her all the more.
Leia was happy in Albany with her mother and father. She grew up with a good group of friends. While other kids around her were doing dangerous things like experimenting with drugs, alcohol, cigarettes, she and her friends were out enjoying life. In Albany, the drugs started in middle school, but she and her two closest friends made a pact to never try anything that could be harmful to their bodies. They kept this pact all through high school and promised to continue it even when she left.
Leia's dad, Doug, had been taking care of abandoned or mistreated wild animals even before she was born. He was a legal animal rescuer and cops brought him animals that people had tried to keep as pets, that were roaming around the streets, or that were too young to survive. Leia grew up around exotic animals and learned to love them like her dad did, even though it was different from what other kids were raised with. Only her closest friends got to come to their farm just outside Albany and see the animals, for if too many people came, it would turn into a zoo and something could go wrong. When Leia was twelve, her father and her raised a baby jaguar that someone had tried to raise as a pet. However, the baby was so far gone from its primal instincts that her father decided she could keep the jaguar as her own pet. She had to train it to be tame, which took a little time, a lot of food, and a few scratches.
Leia was thirteen when her mother got breast cancer. With all of the treatments and support from others, plus her mother's excellent health otherwise, they were sure she was going to pull through. There was, of course, always the possibility of her not making it, but they tried not to think about that as she went through three years of chemo. And just when it seemed they were in the clear...the cancer won. Her mom was taken on her birthday, December 31. (wants to cry just writing this)
Leia and her dad were pretty close from the animals, but Paulina and Leia had always had a different kind of relationship. Losing her mom was like losing a part of herself. She and her dad tried to keep the rescue center going, living on money from the state and insurance. Then, they decided there were too many memories of Paulina to keep them in Albany. They moved to Watersburg in August and she's just starting school now, the new girl, with no friends except for animals and a broken heart that is slowly mending.[/ul]

PASSWORD . [Removed by admin.]
RP SAMPLE . This. Was. His. Hell. Or maybe it was his heaven. Perhaps it was a little bit of both combined in one. It was his saving grace, keeping him out of jail, putting him to work, but at the same time it was taking his time away from cars, pretty girls and replacing it with mucking stalls and being around smelly horses. He had never liked horses particularly. Sure, cowboy stories had fascinated him at times and horses were okay, but he had never had an interest in them.
Matt flung another pitchfork of horse feces into the wheelbarrow, scowling as he did so. By now his boots were covered in dust, along with his jeans and his tight-fitting white T-shirt. He was just lucky they weren't covered with shit, but he had been careful. He was aware that the students of the stable were supposed to take care of their own stalls, but he had been told to muck them out anyways to give them a break. Besides, a few were on vacation and had left the care of their beloved horses in the stable's hands. Mainly, his. He took a cursory glance around the empty stall and then leaned the pitchfork up against the wall, glad to be finally done with this stall and mucking for the day. Now all that was left to do was carrying water buckets and he could leave.
Matt wasn't sure whether he should or should not be looking forward to the arrival of /his/ horse. Why they were expecting him to look after another living creature was beyond him, he was certain he'd mess the horse up even more than it already was. Basically, he wasn't taking this entirely seriously. It was a joke, an easy way out of jail time. Help out a little, pretend like he cared and as soon as he convinced the owner of the stable that he was responsible, dump the horse on some unfortunate soul and high-tail it out of this town. There was nothing in his plans about caring, truly caring, for a horse. They were just shit machines to him. The various disciplines of riding meant nothing to him; they were just a bunch of high-stepping prissy events people with no lives participated in.
The juvenile delinquent wheeled the wheelbarrow outside to the dung heap, emptying it quickly and turning back to head back into the barn...What was that? Something caught his eye and he paused, looking past the pastures where a stallion was having a grand old time. If his eyesight wasn't failing him, there appeared to be a pretty girl sitting underneath a willow tree. Perhaps this place wasn't so bad after all.
Matt returned the wheelbarrow to the side of the barn, rather haphazardly, and made his way nonchalantly towards the girl, not even bothering to try and make up an excuse to go and talk to her. "Hey, what are you doing out here all by your lonesome, pretty lady?" he said charmingly as he approached with a wink that was enough to send many girls into a fit of giggles. Even as he got closer he could tell that his assessment of her even from a distance had been accurate; she was a very pretty girl.
