` run Andreios, run
"This is how you remind me of what I really am."
` are you with me,
YOUR AGE . I can finally say I'm 14.
RP EXPERIENCE . A little over a year.
CONTACT INFO . PM on Morgana.
HOW DID YOU FIND US . Paronomasia. That and I was one of the pillars that held the previous sites standing.[/ul]
` there's no turning back,
NICKNAMES . Rei.
AGE & DATE OF BIRTH . 17. November 5th.
OCCUPATION . Currently: None.
FACE CLAIM . I think he's the main character from a manga called Black Cat.[/ul]
` i'll be waiting,
His shoulders aren’t exactly broad, but well-defined, and there is strength in his hands, definitely larger than some scraggly kid’s, but nowhere near as calloused as that of a football player. Generally, he’d seem like a decent, healthy, well-off, but average teen. He wears simple shirts of a single color, a few jackets that repeat over them, and anything else he can easily move around in. the only footwear you’d see on him are white sneakers, although they’re just slightly battered from the years.
PERSONAL STYLE . If there is one thing Andreios couldn’t care less about, it’s style of clothing. He likes soft fabrics that make him feel comfortable in. yes, it was safe to say he wore clothes for comfort. Faded blue or black jeans, cotton shirts, and a few brown-black-white-maroon sweaters for the cold months is all he needs.[/ul]
` lace up your shoes,
Running – Now here was something Rei had some pride and joy in because he loved to run. It was something he could do and just let the wind whiz by and leave the world behind. And not only did he like to run, he could run.
Animals – With the exception of dogs and heavy emphasis on species of cats, Andreios thinks animals are fun to play with, and is always interested in people’s pets. He tends to be wary of dogs, however, for he had a bitter memory of when he was in grade school and three dogs of different sizes were chasing him all over a park until he ran up a slide and clutched onto the edges for dear life.
Music – He likes to fall asleep to rock, alternative, and anything else with a good rhythm and original lyrics. He’d spend hours sometimes searching up music videos on youtube.
Black – As the color, simply because he thinks it’s cool. No other reason. That and he likes to wear his clothes more than once before having to wash them.
Games – This can be board games, card games, guessing games, bets, dares, or anything else that he can pick up within a few minutes. Of course, the latter few often lands him in awkward situations…
DISLIKES . Dogs – As said before, he’s had bad memories with them.
People who think they’re superior, are excessively obnoxious, completely fake, bully others, rub him the wrong way, or are simply way too serious. Rei is generally a peaceful person (cough) but he can’t stand attitudes and can never back down from trading insults when it was someone else who gave the first blow.
Lies – He hates it when people aren’t honest with him, even about things that are clearly none of his business, and especially with his friends. He’d rather someone just said straight out that they didn’t want to tell him something than their making up some story or evading him. And somehow, Andreios always knows.
Hypocrites – People like that just don’t make sense. They really get under his skin.
Homework – Rei is someone who can entertain himself for hours doing nothing, but the thought of sitting down and doing work is pure torture. He’s actually fairly smart, and almost listens to the teachers every once in a while, but he just can’t buckle down and do homework.
STRENGTHS . Rei is VERY easy to make friends with, and it’s hard for him to break that friendship as well. But trust is big to him, so if that’s ever dishonored, you’ll have an eternity of hell trying to have him as a friend again. He wouldn’t wreck revenge on you like no tomorrow, but his cold, quiet but noble hurt would be more devastating than any punishment.
Andreios is very fast – and I mean very fast on his feet. Not only can he run but his reflexes are impeccable. But since he’s not on a single sport and hasn’t got that much upper body strength, no one knows much about it and it’s not easy to win a fight.
Though this says nothing about his grades in English class, Rei can think of quite the comeback, verbally, and his tongue stings almost more than his fist. He can be vindictive when he wants to be. He just usually doesn’t want to be.
WEAKNESSES . Though almost everything about him is open, Rei refuses to talk about his family. None of his friends know much about them, and most have never thought about why he’s always so evasive when mentioning them. It’s not that they wronged him in any way. He just never feels comfortable with them.
Rei has a way with trouble. As in, it always finds him. Oh, there was this fairy business that his parents have always been yapping at him about, the constant accusations of stealing something or having said whatever to insult whatshisface when he didn’t even know who it was, then getting into a fight for it and being hauled to the principal’s office for violence, sent to the school therapist… He usually finds a way around it, of course, but his parents aren’t pleased and he’s acquired quite a reputation.
He doesn’t try hard enough in school and is lacking in credits, marks, a high GPA, the whole package. His friends always tell him to get a grip but he says he’s got things all figured out. That he’s got plenty of ideas for when school’s over. Then he’d go home, with his ideas, of which there’d be exactly none.
GOALS . Rei's only goals are to live a life he can say he's proud to have lived. That and recently, to keep an eye out for other magicals.
FEARS . He fears people discovering his secrets, suddenly setting someplace on fire, being hauled off to juvenile hall for something that one hundred percent was not his fault, his friends leaving him, having no future, being saddled with his parents for life, dying before he’s done all he has to do (whatever that is) and losing a verbal battle.
SECRETS . All of his fears. Alaqua's existence.
FAIRY PAST . Tyrani, though you can't tell from looking at him. His element’s fire, obviously, and his familiar is a lioness, that he keeps hidden at home. She’s still a cub, and he calls her Alaqua.
OVERALL PESONALITY . Andreios is a good kid, really, he is. He’s not too good on words of wisdom or emotional matters, and can’t always explain complicated things clearly – such as the way he felt about his family. But he can give a pep talk to anyone and make them feel better in two minutes flat. He can give someone a tongue-thrashing that would make a cold, satisfactory feeling creep up everyone’s spine. He could be complaining about an obstacle in his way, then laugh at how fun a challenge it was. He could be alone and not feel lonely for days if he had to.
He could back down for a friend, sacrifice for someone he barely knows. He trusts in his instincts and could tell if he’d like someone or not just by looking them dead on the eye, once. He could be the next person who drives you crazy for months after turning that corner on the street. Or he’d be your new confidant, new crush, new rival, new acquaintance. He could be opposing you, yet still be laughing when the game is over like you’d fought your way to victory together. He could talk to you for half and hour and it would seem as though you knew each other forever. He could be cracking up, then suddenly turn somber and tell you something, a gem of wisdom, that neither of you understand but would somehow make both of you feel better.
He could be by himself, brooding, and as soon as someone arrives, he’ll perk up and smile, even if he didn’t really like them. He’d be badmouthing the teachers for giving him detention, and feeling sorry for them when they come down with the flu. He could be doing all of the above and you’d look at him, point it out and he’d scratch his head, pretending not to know what you’re talking about.
He could be upset about something, something big, but you’d never know about it because he’d never burden you, never thought for a second he should dampen your day with his troubles. He could know everything about you, yet you realize you barely know his story, but since you know him, it doesn’t matter. He could be angry at you for something you didn’t mean to do, and the next time you see him, he’d act like it never happened. Or. You could betray him and lose him forever.

` don't tell a soul goodbye,
CURRENT LOCATION . He doesn’t tell anyone, but his family lives on 728 Lily Boulevard.
FATHER . Ethan Regan.
MOTHER . Naomi Regan.
SIBLINGS . None.
PETS . None unless you count Alaqua.
OTHER FAMILY . None he knows of.
HISTORY . They say Andreios Regan was a troublemaker. Oh yes, he’d had his mischievous moments, all right, but they wronged him when they said that. Andreios Regan was born in Bucharest, Romania, on November 5th, 1993, at exactly 12:24am and the stars were probably horribly crossed. For he sailed through most of childhood peacefully, moved to America, and spent kindergarten year in Watersburg, where he was promptly accused of stealing his teacher’s engagement ring. She took it off to wash her hands after an educational painting class, and the next second, it was gone.
A girl who’s name was forgotten in the sands of time had sworn she saw something shiny in Rei’s backpack. She was also the same girl who had sand thrown into her face when Rei was playing in the sandbox. When they found the ring dropped carelessly on top of his jacket, he remembered that he froze, staring up at his teacher, and couldn’t even find the voice in him to speak. That girl’s secret smile would still haunt him for years to come.
And just like that, Andreios was brandished as a thief, a troublemaker, a delinquent, a smart aleck. He sailed through the remainder of his school years with his head bowed down, doing things quietly, if not still exuding a presence only he could pull off. But nasty things crept up. People would gang up on him for no real reason, he’d see someone picking on some little kid and find he had to intervene, some kid’s iPod was stolen. It hurt, and it annoyed him to see himself acquiring a reputation he neither wanted nor deserved.
But he tried to ignore it all, and for the most part, his middle school years were fun, and bright spots of happiness in his memory, with only a blotch of black here and there. Then, on his thirteenth birthday, he had a surprise. His father was aloof, rarely home, and someone Rei never looked forward to seeing when he came home. Ethan Regan may have known everything he was taught in law school, but he never really knew his son as a person. Rei’s mother wasn’t much better. She latched onto the internet like it provided oxygen, discussed essential and top secret things with friends that always had wine involved and both parents only acknowledged Andreios to ask warily if anything else ‘happened’ at school and remind him to pick up those grades.
It was how Rei spent so much time to himself. On his thirteenth birthday, they finally revealed to him that he was, in fact…well, basically, a fire pixie. Fairy. That he had magic in his veins. And that others like him are gathered here, for they have a task to complete. Andreios, being, well, thirteen at the time, took it as an extra TV channel and enjoyed the dramatics while they lasted, all the while wondering whether to hire a shrink.
Then things started happening. He’d be sitting in a classroom with the air conditioning turned way up, freezing to death, when suddenly, what looked like a spark ignited in his hand and he felt like he was sitting by a fireplace. He’d lose track of time while he’s outside and wouldn’t be able to see anything, and suddenly, he would start to glow in the dark. When Alaqua, whom his parents mysteriously presented to him half a year ago, would curl onto his lap, orbs of fire formed a ring around them.
He’s been trying to (discreetly) find the others who are like him for months now, but with no luck. Then again, luck was never with him, was it?

RP SAMPLE . Something soft tingled on his skin. Soft on the human part of him but somehow not quite right. Rei swiveled around, his expression wild, but couldn't find the source. He told himself it was paranoia gripping at him but paranoia wasn't in his dictionary. His eyes scanned the classroom until finally, he narrowed in on an ebony black-haired girl just a few years younger than himself standing out in the hall. In fact, she looked barely older than that JJ couple. Yet something was wrong. His instinct told him...
He shook his head to clear it as another note landed on his desk. As soon as he saw that color again, he scowled, crumpling it. Meeting Jake's eyes, he sneered to show that whatever his species was, he didn't trust Jake to be the better of them. Even demons had their days. Even angels had to burn. And even fairies had their black sheep. His eyes suddenly flickered to the door again, where that other girl was still standing.
His hand shot up. "Mr...Killiliea?" The class, all attuned to the teacher, had turned abruptly to Rei, but he didn't care.
"Yes, boy?"
"I want to go see the nurse," he said stiffly. "I don't feel very well."
Peering at him through his round spectacles, Mr. Killiliea only replied, "I see. Does anyone want to take - "
"No, that's all right, sir," he said hastily, standing up quickly. "I'll just...go along right here..." Weaving his way throughout the annoyingly positioned desks, he soon arrived at the end. Not taking time to spare the twins a glance, he wrenched the door open, and barged past the girl standing there. He got a good look at her face though...
Cursing himself, he could already hear what he father would say, know to the family how it would look. So many times Rei had been convinced he found one, often blundering and using not school-approved means of finding them, then all turning out to be empty. Breaking into a loping run, he turned left down the hall, and hopefully toward what would be the gates he came through.
He was skipping school, yes, but he had been so sure, so certain there were magics in there. So certain.[/ul]
